WHAT DOES CIL HAVE TO OFFER YOU?

CIL offers five levels of ?English or Spanish to foreign students from very beginning to advanced levels. Students are grouped according to their knowledge of the language, as determined by the placement test taken at the time of registration. Students may receive a Certified Diploma for the courses taken through the Center. Superior training results in improved teaching techniques and guarantees that you will receive the best possible exposure to the language at each level.

BEGINNER - 2 LEVELS

Beginning students will be introduced to practical daily language skills.
After completion of this module you will have learned basic English or Spanish skills necessary for shopping, asking directions, and dining out.

INTERMEDIATE - 2 LEVELS

Intermediate students will build on skills learned in the beginner level.
The focus will be verb conjugations, grammar, and expanded vocabulary.
Completion of this module will measurably enrich the Mexican experience and provide the advanced skills necessary for social interaction. Students will be able to conduct conversations on a variety of topics.

ADVANCED - 1 LEVEL

Advanced students will continue to improve grammar knowledge and expand their vocabulary. In addition, this course work will include practice in basic writing, reading different kinds or texts including English or Spanish classic and contemporary Latin American Literature, listening comprehension strategies, and continued conversation skills. Upon completion of this module you will be well on your way to comfortably speak English or Spanish in most settings such as: the workplace and all social activities.

AFTER CLASS ACTIVITIES

CIL includes guided tours around Mexico City and other parts of the country, with experienced guides who are well-known throughout Mexico as authorities in their field. These excursions include visits to museums, archaeological sites, colonial churches, monasteries, concerts, films, exhibitions, and other events. The cost varies according to distance and place. Transportation will be provided in a professional manner with the utmost attention to security.
